Wei Wai Kum/Kwiakah Treaty Society

The Wei Wai Kum/Kwiakah Treaty Sociey represents the Wei Wai Kum First Nation (also known as the Campbell River First Nation) and Kwiakah First Nation. These Nations entered the treaty negotiations process as part of the Kwakiutl Laich-Kwil-Tach Council of Chiefs, but began negotiating separately in 2014. Wei Wai Kum/Kwiakah traditional territory is located around the east-central area of Vancouver Island and mainland coastal watersheds.
